Micron PAC Board
PURPOSE
The Board of Directors oversees the Micron PAC to ensure fulfillment of its mission as well as adherence to its governance, transparency and fiscal responsibilities.
WHO WE ARE
The PAC Board consists of a set of senior eligible team members who represent the various teams, site locations and inclusive culture of our company.
Being part of the PAC Board is a voluntary, uncompensated position.
Micron PAC Board members are appointed by the PAC Board Chair—the VP of the Global Government & Public Affairs (GPA) —to serve a two-year term concurrent with the two-year federal election cycle and may serve consecutive terms without limit.
Together, in partnership with Micron’s U.S. GPA team and Compliance & Ethics, the Micron PAC Board leads internal outreach and education efforts, serving as PAC ambassadors to help eligible team members understand the PAC’s purpose and impact.
The U.S. GPA team is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and business of the PAC, such as processing receipts and disbursements, communications and recruitment. GPA closely coordinates these activities with Compliance & Ethics.

PAC Contribution Criteria
The U.S. GPA team recommends a bipartisan set of U.S. candidates to support through contributions of Micron PAC funds. The recommendations are reviewed and approved by the Compliance & Ethics team and a majority vote of the PAC Board.
Considerations in supporting candidates include factors such as:
Representation of a Micron site
Alignment with the company’s public policy priorities (detailed on our Public Policy Webpage)
Company values
Leadership positions or committee assignments
All Micron PAC contributions to U.S. lawmakers are within FEC-directed spending limits and can be viewed on the FEC website. The Micron PAC does not contribute to Presidential campaigns.
Those factors are weighed for all candidates, regardless of party affiliation, to help ensure that our PAC contributions are strategic and align with both business goals and legal standards. Not every candidate will meet all the criteria and changes to the contribution strategy are evaluated throughout the year.
